What is a buffer letter?
Buffer letters are letters placed between the core word and the suffix.
Why do we have buffer letters?
When a suffix added to a word, if two vowels come together. It is a clash. We place buffer letters between the word core and the suffix, so it is easier to read.
What are the buffer letters?
They are y, ş, s, n.
Every word-suffix combination has its own buffer letter.
Examples:
bahçe-y-e= bahçeye (to the garden)
evi(her house)-n-e= evine (to her house)
