The time has come to start cleaning the metal parts. I would say try to do one part at a time, to the best you can. I do these sort of things between glue-ups.
So we strip all of the metal parts of the Primus #711 plane and see just what this plane has been through.
And there were one or two surprises. One of them was the plane has never been sharpened, which I find really surprising. The video covers cleaning rust and dust from all of the mechanical parts. So it's a great way to get an understanding of what goes where.
