If you've ever used my work before, or just like what I do and want to support my creative efforts, please consider supporting me monetarily.
Up until now, I've never had the inclination to allow people to support my work through donations. It's always been hard for me to place a price on the value of my work because everything I make comes from a place of passion and love for the craft.
Until I began tinkering with open source code and creating open source things of my own, I never realised the true value of free and open source digital products. The truth is, good quality tools and products of value that is both free and open source is incredibly hard to come by.
Quality products comes from not just a love for the craft, but years of experience, dedication, and most importantly, time.
Free and open source products are incredibly valuable to the public for a number of reasons. They help newcomers get started and learn by being able to go more in depth to how the particular thing was created. They also keep costs down and help to democratise the industry and make assets and capabilities available to people of all walks of life.
To put it bluntly, supporting open source creators is essential for fostering a better creative industry for everyone. You may not realise it, but many free products are a result of someone's hard work and dedication to the craft. These people don't earn any money from their efforts, they probably work day jobs, freelance, or hustle.
I would be so grateful if you acknowledged the value of my work or if you got something out of it, and I endeavour to pay your support forward to various other open source tools and products when I can.
Thank you so much.
