Hi! I am Maurizio, born and raised in Italy by Uruguayan parents. My greatest passion has always been to travel. I love to leave and travel backpacking for months, always trying to experience every place in the most authentic way possible. I prefer less touristy destinations and my wandering is featured both by being organized and by let myself go and enjoy the surprises the road reserves for me.

I created "Go where the blog takes you" with the aim of helping as many people as possible to better organize their travels in complete autonomy. I always try to make my readers understand that being cautious is right, but without exaggerating. The world is a wonderful place and most of those who lives it are extraordinary people ready to help a complete stranger without any motives. I am convinced that the approach with which we face an adventure is fundamental. The world is like a mirror, if you smile at it he will do the same.

All contents are free because my goal is to share my experiences and my knowledge with others. Ciao! Sono Maurizio, nato e cresciuto in Italia da genitori uruguayani. La mia più grande passione è sempre stata quella di viaggiare. Amo partire per mesi zaino in spalla cercando sempre di vivere ogni luogo nel modo più autentico possibile. Prediligo le destinazioni meno turistiche e il mio vagabondare è caratterizzato sia dall’organizzazione che dal lasciarmi andare alle sorprese che la strada mi riserba.

Cerco sempre di far comprendere ai miei lettori che essere prudenti è giusto, ma senza esagerare. Il mondo è un luogo meraviglioso e la maggior parte di coloro che lo abitano sono persone straordinarie pronte ad aiutare un perfetto sconosciuto senza secondi fini. Sono convinto che l’approccio con cui si affronta un’avventura sia fondamentale. Il mondo è come uno specchio, se gli sorridi lui farà altrettanto.
