Self discovery through world exploration

For the first time in my life, I'm a full-time writer.

Thankfully I've got a writing dayjob that pays the rent and keeps the lights on, which allows me to maintain my blog, AvoidingRegret.com, without receiving immediate compensation for it.

My blog is monetized with a small amount of ads enabled, but in reality that's just a tiny revenue source -- especially considering the fact that I typically fund my own travel and buy my own tickets rather than being "hosted" or "comped."

That means I write what I'm truly passionate about... and worry about turning it into an income source later.
