I started on a series of videos with vegetarian recipes. This one is vegetarian “Beef” Chow Fun.
I know right? Doesn’t it look like beef. What for sort of sorcery is this?????
Kidding aside, I was quite impressed working with wheat gluten ingredient. I have to admit, it doesn’t taste like beef. However, the texture is quite “beef” like in my mouth.
When seasoned with the same marinade as I use for beef chow fun it’s hard to tell the difference between a cooked piece of wheat gluten and flank steak.
