Oil and data. By extension oil companies and banking and all other spin offs of these two industries.
I like to say that certain quarters control the system of riba-based banking, a certain group control Islamic banking and the rest control the oil world.
Of course, it ain't that simple, the US and the Saudis are allies but also adversaries on certain issues.
Malaysia has close relations with both.
The future leader of Malaysia must understand this fact intimately.
