Places to visit in... Kyiv. Local market

Apr 09, 2023

Hi!

Today I will tell you about our local platform for Ukrainian brands vsi.svoi. Let's translate the name not literally as 'all our brands/ made in Ukraine.'

vsi.svoi is the largest platform for Ukrainian brands here. It was established in 2015. It has a website where they sell all things Ukrainian (no English version, unfortunately), a large store on Khreshchatyk Street, and organizes a local market twice a month or so.

Let's talk about the market. I highly recommend you visit it when you come to Kyiv after our victory. You may subscribe to their Instagram, highlighting the following market dates.

Usually, the market is on Desiatynna Str, 12 (very close to Andriivskyi Descent). But please check before visiting.

What can you find in the market?

Clothes, accessories, home decor, food, and beverages. Everything is made in Ukraine.

Yesterday (and today, I needed to take some more pictures), I visited Easter Market. Let me show some photos and highlight the four brands I liked the most.Poetry Home (perfumes for home)

It's my absolute love and recent discovery. The fragrance 'Born in Kyiv' is unbelievable (really good).
As I see, at the moment, they don't have an English version of their website. So when you come to Kyiv, please, visit the market and find them. You will be impressed by the quality.Cartonic (cardboard 3D puzzles)

They ship worldwide. They don't have an English version of their website either. But you can order via Instagram by writing to them. The girls are so friendly.
By the way, puzzles are an excellent choice for an eco-friendly gift.
The girls told me they were going to open a Twitter account. I promised to tell you about it (so, coming soon, I hope).Good Bread (an inclusive bakery)

This bakery gives work to adult people with mental disabilities. Also, they are helping a lot during the war by delivering free bread to people in need. You can help them by donating. They will bake 10000 Easter cakes for everyone in need. My true love & admiration ♥️ All the information on how to help, you can find on their website.Yanchyn Hills Family Winery (wine)

Website

I don't drink any alcohol. But I do want you to know about this family business. The grapes for their white wine are from the Lviv oblast, and the red wine is from the Kherson oblast. The winery is at Lviv oblast, Ivanivka village.
I do believe the wine is good. At the moment, they don't ship worldwide.

Also, you can find different cheese, meat, and honey products in the market (it's about food). Let me share with you just one more cheese picture. So, I hope you will visit Kyiv and have a chance to see the vsi.svoi market. We will be happy to welcome you to generous Ukraine.

We just need more time to win this war and keep our beautiful land free.

Thank you for reading this short piece. Please let me know if you find it useful. I might continue visiting the market regularly and make tweets, spouts, and sometimes blog posts about Ukrainian brands.

As usual, thank you for the warcoffee.

Easter hugs from Ukraine,

Yara (or Yaroslava)
