Hi!
New tradition – to write you when it’s no power. Sitting in the candles’ kingdom & waiting for pizza (tried to order delivery so let’s see if it works).
Today letter will be short. It’s mostly thank you message for support & report on my spending #warcoffee money.
As I promised, 50% on a monthly basis I’ll be sending to Ukrainian Armed Forces. They help me to stay alive, write you & have dreams to travel around the world (yes-yes, I have heavy suitcases of dreams).
This month you’ve bought me tons of coffee (for 5000 dollars). Let me show you all the way.
I’ve withdrawn 5022 dollars to my Payoneer account (there’s a Stripe option too, but we don’t have Stripe in Ukraine). By the way, buymeacoffee make payouts only on Wednesdays. So I had to wait.
From Payoneer I sent 5000 dollars to my Ukrainian card. 100 dollars – Payoneer or bank (whatever) commission
So 4900 dollars were converted to UAH (Ukrainian hryvnia). 1 dollar = 36,57 UAH
179 186 UAH as a result. 90 000 UAH I sent to United24 for Defense & Demining.
(other part? It’ll be for after victory worldwide tour).
90 000 UAH is a large sum to be send in one payment. Next time I’ll be dividing for several payments (as I worry if everything is ok, questions from bank etc.).
Hope I wasn’t extremely boring with these mathematics things.
Now you see the power of coffee cups. So next time (in any life situation) when you think ‘OMG! What can I change? It’s just one voice’, please, know that your voice matters. Your voice is a part of powerful choir of humanity.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you for following this #warcoffee story. Thank you for your support. You matter!
Candle hugs,
Yara (or Yaroslava)
ps. Pizza arrived.
