#warcoffee talks about something. The day of our life

Dec 14, 2022

Hi!

There’re many things I want to share. About this caramel day, me, our war.

I've missed you. Yes-yes, recently you’ve got the something from me where I told you about the company closure and my brave plans for 2023. I was hugged by your support. Thank you for that.

And here it’s me again. New something is cooked from December snow, power at home & strong love for life.

Do you love your life? Please do. We don’t know whether we have a chance to try a new one. Dreaming about something? Do it. Love somebody? Tell about it. Are you feeling trapped in your routine? You know the answer.

Sorry. I am not going to teach you how to live.

These days I feel strange. I feel free. Yesyes, I loved (not always, of course) my job and the people I worked with. But this subtle magic of freedom to write whenever I want (and I write a lot) is overwhelming. Even russian drones & bombs cannot damage it.

Today we were attacked again. Nothing new. Just a stupid war. 3 hours of terror. But our air defense is brilliant. So here we are, at home, with power, water, and heating. Alive.

Can you imagine that we went to live our regular lives after the attack? But we did. I went to the dentist, bought some groceries, and worked out in the evening.

We have learned to live with the war. Unbelievable!

Mom called. She is waiting for us to visit her (and stay for the Christmas holidays) next week. It’s too early to plan (it’s war times), but it would be great. We would love to stay for a week or two (no more). I miss my forest. Oh, this gorgeous forest near my Mom’s house. It should have been dressed in winter now. I promise to take you miles of pictures.

I have to finish this light letter. Thank you for being here.

Winter hugs from Kyiv,
Yara (or Yaroslava)
