Hello all,
As the battles around Bakhmut become more of a focus I have thought it would be helpful to create a closeup map of the city as was done for the battle of Mariupol earlier in the war (see below).
Here is a very early work-in-progress for Bakhmut:
I currently intend to mark the following:
Major and minor roadways
Railways
Settlement boundaries (currently light green)
Built-up areas of settlements (currently darker green)
Rivers / lakes / other waterways
Russian controlled areas
Contested areas
Please feel free to comment on additional features that you would like to have marked on the map to make it more helpful or easier to interpret.
