Hello there peeps.
I'm Kim Winberry, or waterplusink on most social media platforms.
I am a watercolor artist that is striving to make a difference. I have so many oars in the water, so let me tell you about a few.
I am currently working with the LA Zoo and donating an original painting to their Beastly Ball and livestreaming/interviewing the Zoo while I paint this special piece.
I am also in the midst of writing a storybook for 4th grade level kiddos that introduces the concept of "endangered" and "extinction". It is an augmented reality enabled project and as such will have 3d animated models playing out the story of each page.
I am teaching zoom watercolor workshops through the City of Beverly Hills (you don't need to live there to take these) and they're FREE.
I am working on creating augmented reality components to several of my art pieces (Videos and posts to come)
I am scheduled to participate in several art festivals through the end of this year across the western United States.
I am beginning to work with fellow TikToker Greg Runge on his Mile Zero project that is bringing the issue of homelessness closer to the forefront. Greg is traveling across the United States and serving the homeless and I am developing and maintaining his web presence during this project. As well as creating merch designs for sale to help keep him on the road.
