Sunrise
Is the one
I sit with
Now,
Before my eyes
Gazing
Soul to soul
Into the glimmers
Of us
That shine
Like gold
Witnessing
Where Life begins
And the Love
That exists
Between
You and I
Where I lazily watch
The day go by
Held within this
Peaceful respite
Until the most beautiful
Sunset
Graces my eye,
To realize
Life doesn’t end
It only ever begins
Again and again
In these moments
