She looked around in defeat. Tiny glints of sparkling glitter shone on every surface. Cuts of ribbon and globs of glue were scattered across the table. The project had looked so simple in the video, but the once beautiful components had quickly deteriorated to rubbish. With a groan she stopped the video and switched off the computer. She looked at the pile of twine, tangled and coated with glue. It was beyond salvation. The ribbon next to it had snagged in several places and was marred by holes. She shook her head and began to clean the mess. Crafting was most definitely not for her. She swept the layer of glitter into a pile. She had most of it gathered when she began to sneeze uncontrollably. The glitter flew across the table. When she opened her eyes her gaze met the reproachful glare of her cat.
