Setting Up Membership Rewards

Setting Up Membership Rewards

Jul 20, 2020

Today, I am setting up membership rewards for WriterSancutary's Buy Me a Coffee support. It's been a long time coming, and I'm still trying to come up with something that is unique. So, if you have any ideas about what you'd like to see as a reward, feel free to leave a comment.

At the moment, I am thinking some behind-the-scenes blogging and perhaps some personal videos. I was also toying with the idea of offering an eBook for beginning freelance writing and then giving it away to supporters.

I've seen a few other writers offer short stories, clips of their upcoming novels, and a few other things. Perhaps I'll do some reconnaissance across the other platforms to see what kind of goodies similar people are offering.

At any rate, I'm working on setting up at least a few rewards today and then making a video about it for the YouTube channel. With any luck, that'll be up today. If not, I'll work on it for Wednesday.

I'd still love to set up a community-type layout on WriterSanctuary. I know, adding yet another social element to an already-saturated Internet seems a bit redundant. But, I think it might be fun for freelancers and creatives to share and get together with a common theme. I guess I'm just not into Facebook groups.

I know this year really hasn't unfolded like anyone thought on January 1st. But, I still think we can have a stellar ending. In reality, I always play better on the back nine anyway. And I think we can make something pretty grand of all the different projects I'm involved in. I just need to take a breath and focus on one day at a time. It's easy to get overwhelmed when you have 5 blogs, 4 YouTube channels, private clients, and trying to write a novel all in the same workweek.

So, tell me, what kind of things would you like to see as a membership reward? I'd love to hear from you. Especially since helping others is one of the primary reasons why I built WriterSanctuary.com, to begin with.
