First of all, before I get into this blog post I want to apologise for being inactive for a few weeks. My main reason was to do with my health - both physically and mentally - and also because I wanted to take a step back and think about how I want to push forward with my BMC account as more than just me making a weekly blog.
This is where the big news comes in because I decided to finally sort out my membership tiers for my profile! There are currently two tiers to choose from so far with the first being the 'Raindrop!!' tier:
Just a disclaimer to say that these images are just placeholders until I eventually make some nicer images to represent the tiers!
The 'Raindrop!!' tier is basically just a general tier where you can support me for £1 a month or £10 for a yearly membership with what I do! It is the best tier for those who want to support me but don't want to donate loads of money towards the tiers at all.
The second tier and also the next level up is the 'Sunshine!!' tier:
The 'Sunshine!!' tier is the next level up and comes with the same perks as the 'Raindrop!!' tier but with a couple of extras including WIP posts and other perks too! This tier is £2 a month or £20 for a yearly membership.
The money from these memberships will be going towards material costs for equipment that I use for not just my hobbies but also will be using on a daily basis, as an example I want to upgrade my laptop and also eventually get some higher end creative applications, a decent camera and video camera etc. in the future - these will all contribute to my content as a content creator and also will help to contribute to my plan to eventually work from home and not with the general public as much as I currently do. I want to get back into my creative hobbies like drawing and photography - photography in particular I haven't done anything decent in years (without including anything on my mobile). I feel like my plans of use for the membership money is selfish but it will help me to push out more and better content in the future so I hope that is ok! 🙇🏻♀️
To continue talking about the creative stuff, when it comes to drawing I would love to get back into digital art once again, this is something I haven't done since I was around 17~18 as my drawing tablet died on me and my laptop decided to just not allow me to use the older one that did just about work still (had to hold the USB lead in place 😶). I don't know if I have any old examples of my digital art laying around anywhere but if I find anything I will be sure to post my favourite pieces in the future! 💜
After having a rough time at work the last few weeks in particular it did make me realise that I want to just do what makes me happy and being creative and creating content for the world to see makes me happy. I can't see this working out for me in the long run currently so we can consider this as a kind of side project for now until the day (hopefully) comes when I can do what makes me happy on a daily basis! 🥲
To come away from talking about my future plans (which ended up being more than just my future plans for BMC) I'm going to announce some news that I'm sure some of you have already seen me mention numerous times on Twitter... I'm just proving my point that I don't shut up about my faves but at the same time I'm not sorry! 😂
So next weekend Hyper Japan Online is happening and to coincide with this Miura Ayme is going to be showing us some exclusive live footage through the Hyper Japan YouTube channel! As a huge fan of Ayme's, I am incredibly excited for the footage and better yet, it is happening on the weekend so I will be able to watch the live footage... live! 💜🥲🖤
At the same time Ayme is also doing a Zoom meet and greet with fans on the same day and from the same time of the day too, ending at 5PM UK time. I unfortunately never got the news about this Zoom meet and greet so I missed out on the ticket to be able to meet him over Zoom.
To say I was devastated was an understatement... however all hope wasn't lost!
Due to the high demand Ayme also offered to do the Zoom meet and greet AGAIN but on August 1st (same times, from 3PM till 5PM UK time), I was so excited and also determined to get a ticket this time and...
I was lucky enough to be able to nab a ticket for myself for the August 1st Zoom meet and greet!! 💜🤩🖤
When I managed to get the ticket I was just a bundle of different emotions, most of all I am just so excited to be able to meet Ayme even if it is over a Zoom call! I mainly just want to thank him for all of his hardwork as not just a musical artist but also for being the amazing voice behind Asmodeus from Obey Me!
These tickets were limited to 30 tickets for both dates so I am incredibly lucky to have been able to have gotten myself a ticket!
Just as a prior warning before the Zoom call happens - I will not be recording this. It has been strictly stated that there is to be no photography or recording of these meetings and I want to keep to these rules so that it doesn't put Ayme off from doing these events in the future for other lucky fans to be able to meet him over Zoom! 💜🖤
I want to also get a cute outfit sorted out for the call and as his favourite colours are purple and black I want to theme a whole outfit around those colours and also wear an Asmodeus can badge too so I can show my support in subtle ways! 💜🖤
I will highly likely post a photo or two of the whole outfit before the Zoom call happens, I am just so excited to be able to meet Ayme! As I said, I just want to thank him for all of his amazing hardwork! 💜🥺🖤
