How Experts Achieve More in Less Time?

How Experts Achieve More in Less Time?

Feb 22, 2022

Part of the reason why a particular skill often seems so effortless for great masters is not just because they've mastered the process; they are doing less than any better.

They choose to exert only calculated force where it will be practical rather than struggling with pointless alternative tactics.

It took Pablo Picasso 30 years to learn his craft, after which he was able to sketch in merely 30 seconds.

It took Tiger Woods 18 hours of daily practice starting from 7 am till 7 pm to develop an ability that helped him win 15 major championship victories, and 81 career PGA Tour wins.

To succeed in life, you must follow in the footsteps of successful people.

Here are some of the habits that'll help you succeed massively.

Successful People Never Complain

To win big, you must sacrifice big.

Stop complaining about what other people are thinking and talking behind your back.

The only competition you have is yourself.

Do the hard work. Show up daily, and improve your skill one day at a time.

Successful People Help Others

If you want to succeed faster, help other people get what they need.

Figure out what problems the other person is having, and resolve them. Don't demand money for it, at first. When you help people more than once, they notice, and you can easily ask them for help.

But mainly, successful people help others because that's the right thing to do. Help others selflessly.

Successful People Visualize Success

Learn basic visualization and do it every day.

Every morning, close your eyes and imagine achieving your goal. How will you feel? What will you do, and whom will you tell?

Imagine with all the emotions. Visualize success two times a day. First early morning, and second before going to bed. The more you visualize your goal, the more energy you'll get to work on that goal.

Lastly, successful people rely on compound effect. Darren Hardy, in his book, The Compound Effect, explains that staying consistent with a goal and doing little work every day leads to success.

  • To become a successful writer, write one article every day for three years.

  • To master sales, do 30 sales call every day for one year.

  • To get ahead of your competition, focus on acquiring one solid customer daily.
