Happy (very belated) New Year! I've spent the past week getting back into the groove with work, and therefore didn't spend as much time writing as I had done during the last few weeks of 2022.
Nevertheless, I'm here with an update about recent words to hit the web!
General Updates
Your Book Friend now has a dedicated Twitter account as well as our Instagram.
I've begun the process of starting an IRL Little Free Library. We built the shed, and next up is painting and prettying it up. Some yard work needs doing before we can actually install it, so it'll be a bit yet, but I'm very excited.
Writing Updates
The end of 2021 saw a number of new posts, many of them about how much I love the New Year. Here, I'll highlight a few that still feel relevant a week into January:
After seeing Spider-Man: No Way Home I penned this ode to seeing movies alone
My final read and review of 2021 was Lex Croucher's Reputation
I announced a number of reading-related goals for 2022 on Your Book Friend
My first read and review of 2022, The People We Keep, went live on the blog
That's it for this week! Thanks as always for your support. The best way to stay up-to-date on my words on the web is, of course, to follow me on Medium and Twitter. If you're here for the books, you can follow my book blog, Your Book Friend.
See you in a few weeks with our next Monday update!
