So just as the title says something cool happened the other day that had been in the works for quite a while!
Basically it started when I was making my big Portoviejo video, I had been recording and had a few scenes for it and in the process my dad met and talked to someone who worked with a cultural part of the city and that organization was preparing videos for the UNESCO to promote Portoviejo’s traditional gastronomy. Since coincidentally at the time I was making my big video about Portoviejo my dad told the guy about it and he got in touch with me so I could show him what my project looked like. He thought it was great and asked if I could work with them to make a promotional video for Portoviejo.
Now the thing was that I had to wait for everything to go through (a bunch of behind the scenes stuff) and it all took so long that by now (the month of July) I thought that we weren’t going to make the video anymore UNTIL about 2 weeks ago I got a message telling me to prepare a script and be ready to record.
Soooo last week (Friday July 15th to be precise) we recorded everything and it was AMAZING!!! I have never worked with a fully equipped team to make a video before but it’s definitely much different from grabbing my phone and mic and recording by myself. We had someone to check the sound, a producer, a cameraman, and I was the one saying everything! It was great! 🥹
I really hope I did Portoviejo’s gastronomy justice and I can’t wait to have the video or at least know where it’s going to be posted so that everyone can check it out and see how amazing Portoviejo’s gastronomy is! 🍽
