Juno Ending Crypto Interest Bonuses

https://onjuno.onelink.me/TkoI/referral?code=XDJPW39B

Juno just sent out an email to members, informing us of features they'll be ending.

Effective 9/1/22:

  • Crypto assets in BTC, ETH and USDC wallets will no longer earn interest bonus;

  • Crypto assets will not be lent out

  • Cash deposits in FDIC-Insured checking account will still earn 1.2% interest bonus

See the screenhot below and/or check your email. For questions, you can reach Juno by emailing [email protected], or through their Help Center.

BottomCashback

One of my recent TopCashback signups, Brett S., reached out last night after signing up for TopCashback's $35 bonus promotion through me last month, only to get no bonus. It turns out that TopCashback recently changed their referral promotions to referrer-only bonuses. Nothing in their terms or promotional materials state this. And even the promo below technically reads, "Tell-a-Friend, '$35 bonus for you'". But, that's not the case.

I've reached out to TopCashback who confirmed the $0 signup bonus. I asked them when they started doing this and will post an update once I hear back. My apologies to Brett - and anyone else - who signed up through me after TopCashback made this change. I am a huge fan of cashback portals - see my Featured Cashback Portals list. I am not a fan of this move by TopCashback and, until further notice, have removed them from my referral lists and will not be promoting them. I also reworked their promotional banner to more accurately reflect their current referral promotion.

Webull Promotion Hiccups

https://a.webull.com/KJLl7iH11jCmzIlGcd

If you signed up for Webull's 8/1-8/15 promotion and initiated your deposit in time, but it didn't settle until after 8/15, OR, if you referred one or more signups who fall into this scenario, you and your referrer/invitees will each need to reach out to support, to collect your bonuses.

As I reported yesterday, Webull got creative this month and strayed from their normal month-long referral promotion, to holding two nearly identical promotions, each lasting two weeks. And this month, they also require a penny deposit for all referral bonuses. This has caused a handful of issues that I've already reported on. I discovered this latest issue today when a referral who signed up and initiated the deposit before the 8/15 as was required, but their deposit didn't settle until this morning. Because of the way Webull is doing these promotions, neither my signup or I received our bonuses automatically. We each needed to reach out to Webull support, who provided us a link to the previous promotion's wheel spin.

Despite this and other hiccups in the Webull promotions this month, I still highly recommend signing up for Webull if you haven't done so, already. Support has been helpful and quick to respond to and resolve support requests. And of all the apps I refer - over 100 legit apps and opportunities - Webull is one of the most lucrative.

eToro Acquires Gatsby

https://etoro.tw/2Uy5EiQ

Gatsby members received emails from both Gatsby and eToro announcing their "merge" (eToto has acquired Gatsby). eToro - founded in 2007 - purchased Gatsby - a fintech startup founded in 2018 - for $50 million plus a common stock deal.

Based on reports I read, this sounds like a good move for Gatsby and eToro. What's unclear at this point is how it will affect referral bonuses. Though I'm not a member of Gatsby, I'm a longtime member of eToro. This likely means that once there's no more Gatsby, there will be no more Gatsby referral promotions.

eToro also has a referral program. Currently, it's "$30 signup and referral bonus - up to $300 total - when a new customer uses a referral link and deposits $100." According to eToro support when I reached out a few months back, their referral limit is a lifetime limit, meaning that once you reach the limit, you won't receive any more bonuses for the current or future promotions. This "lifetime bonus limit" policy is not the norm when it comes to app referral promotions; when an app has bonus caps, it is typically a per-promotion, and/or a per-year cap.

I will be reaching out to eToro for clarification whether they've changed their "lifetime referral limit" policy since I reached out to them last.

As for Gatsby: members' accounts will become eToro accounts in the next month or so. Members who object to this need close their Gatsby account and either remove or transfer all assets out within 30 days of receiving the email (screenshots below). For questions/assistance, Gatsby can be reached by phone at 856-393-6682 or by email at [email protected]

Webull Brings Apple Back

https://a.webull.com/KJLl7iH11jCmzIlGcd

As reported yesterday, Webull ran a two week promotion from 8/1-8/15, and yesterday, rebooted the same promotion. Turns out, they added their famous "Refer 3 who deposit a penny, get an Apple stock ($173 value as of this morning). This promotion, along with the one they're currently running, ends 8/31.

Keep Blossoming, Canada

After going somewhat viral in the referral groups last week, it turns out the app, Blossom, is Canada only.

Supporti Bonuses Require Paid Subscriptions

A new app has begun showing up in Referral World, called Supporti. Based on the posts I've seen, along with my Google search, Supporti is "an accountability service designed to help procrastinators put in consistent work towards their goals." They currently have a signup/referral bonus where you get a free two-week trial when you sign up, and when you refer the app, you can get $5 per referral. BUT, according to an email screenshot sent to me by Cecilia Delgado, the bonuses are only awarded once the referral finishes the free trial and pays for the subscription, currently $15.99 per month. This paid subscription applies both to the person signing up, and the referrer.

Deja Webull

https://a.webull.com/KJLl7iH11jCmzIlGcd

Did you see the last Webull promotion that just expired yesterday? Well, they just started a new promo up for the remainder of August, and it looks to be identical to the promo they just ended!

Current Webull sign-up promotion, valid 8/16/22-8/31/22.

Webull offers frequent, lucrative signup and referral promotions. In my opinion, they're the best among the stock app promos, and possibly even referral promotions, in general. Up until a few months ago, Webull's bonuses were some variation of "get 2-5 stocks when you sign up" and "get 2-4 stocks with each referral, along with a ~$150 stock when you refer three people who deposit a penny". Referrers almost always had the entire month to acquire signups for each promotion.

When Webull celebrated their 4th anniversary a few months back, they introduced a fantastic referral promotion, where each person who signed got a good signup bonus - 4-6 stocks - and referrers got a minimum of 10 stocks per signup (no deposit required). Plus, they still had the big $150+ referral bonus opportunity.

While Webull tends to promote their bonuses gimmicky, such as "get up to a gajillion dollars", the values typically range between $3-$12, with some $25-$75 stocks sprinkled in.

In July, Webull changed things up again by rewarding fractional shares instead of full shares. While at first disappointing, I quickly realized that the reward amounts were practically the same, and this enabled Webull to offer a wider variety of stock rewards, including fractional shares of Apple, Coca Cola, Ford, etc. Previously, Webull mostly offered GNW and a few other penny stocks I'd never heard of.

This month, Webull changed things up even more. Instead of the standard full-month promotion, their referral promotion was only active from 8/1-8/15. And even though they did not offer the big "refer 3" bonus, this promotion required that new signups successfully deposit a penny for the referrers to get their bonus. They did increase the signup bonus rewards, and referrals could get up to 100 fractional shares for every successful referral (up to 1100 shares max for 11 referrals).

This was the first promotion where, despite regularly referring Webull, I only acquired 4 of 11 possible successful signups. Perhaps I just had a couple weeks of bad luck, or maybe Webull is getting too saturated. After all, each person who successfully signs up potentially converts from "new customer" to "Webull referrer."

While this most recent referral promotion was more difficult for me than others before it, Webull has opted to "play it again, Sam" with this promotion. From 8/16-8/31, new customers can earn up to $76 in fractional shares when they open an account and deposit a penny or more. For every successful signup, the referrer gets a wheel spin that awards them up to 100 fractional shares. 11 referrals are possible, which means up to 1,100 free fractional shares. For any referrer who maxed out their referral spots this month, the new promotion means that those referrers can earn 200-2,200 fractional shares. Assuming that every fractional share bonus is the minimum $3 value, this means that a referrer can earn $600-$6,600, or more!

The downside to this promotion is that anybody who started to sign up but didn't finish from 8/1-8/15 likely isn't eligible for this promotion, regardless of whether they finish the process in the next two weeks. If this is the case for you or your referrals, you might want to reach out to Webull to see if they'll honor the signup/referral bonus. I will also be reaching out to Webull to find out, and will post an update once I know the answer.

Current Webull referral promotion, valid 8/16/22-8/31/22.

TL;DR - Valid 8/16-8:31 - Sign up and earn $34-$76+ when you use a referral link to open a free Webull Cash or Margin account and deposit a penny by 8/31. When each new customer signs up, their referrer will earn 10-100 fractional shares, $30-$300 and potentially much more.

A Cheesy Reminder

Posting a quick reminder about Cheese, who sent this email out to members today: As of today, they've disabled cash-back earning.

See the screenshot below for more important dates as Cheese nears its end. And click here for the FAQs they refer to in the email.

Also, a tip: If you have money in your Cheese account and are looking for ways to best withdraw it, consider signing up for MoneyLion or another bank, where you can connect the Cheese debit card and deposit the funds into your new account. You might just trigger the new bank's signup bonus!

Millions Announcement - Is the End Near?

As I reported a few weeks back, Bancorp and Millions each sent out emails announcing their seemingly nasty split; Bancorp's email essentially declared Millions as dead to them and soon-to-be dead to all of us; Millions followed up, saying they're here to stay, and are actively looking for another hosting bank.

It looks like progress hasn't been made in the Millions quest to find a new hosting bank. They sent out an email this morning announcing the dates of various features ending, reassuring us that their #longlivemillions mission continues.

Upcoming dates:

  • 8/17/22 - We can no longer use add funds to our Millions accounts;

  • 9/18/22 - We can no longer spend money using our Millions cards;

  • 10/14/22 - A check will be mailed to us for any funds remaining in our Millions accounts (can take up to 45 days to arrive).

I really enjoy Millions and their promotions, and I hope they find a new hosting bank so they can survive this (#longlivemillions). I do worry that, after seeing so many app closures the past few weeks, the writing may be on the wall for Millions.

If you, like me, are an active Millions user, and have been taking advantage of their wheel spins, ticket promotions, etc., I recommend that you make sure enough money is in your account so you can continue until the 9/18 spending cutoff. If you don't really use Millions, I recommend you withdraw your funds in case they end up closing down sooner than they're announcing right now.

You're Gonna Hear Me Roar

https://mlion.us/$55BONUS - code $55BONUS

Have you signed up for MoneyLion, yet? They offer app-based banking, lending, financial advisory and investment services for customers. Their goal is to optimize customers' savings and money management while improving their credit.

Right now, MoneyLion is running a fantastic promotion: Use my link to download the app and sign up. Once you do this and enter my code when prompted - $55BONUS - you'll get $5 once you open a free RoarMoney Checking Account. No deposit required, and the bonus typically hits your account in 1-3 days. Get another $50 bonus when you make two direct deposits of $100 or more within 60 days.

Once you've signed up, you get your own referral link, and $5 for every person who signs up and opens a RoarMoney account. Get another $50 for every person who makes their first two $100+ qualifying direct deposits within 60 days.

MoneyLion often has great extra bonuses, as well. Their latest special promotion offered an additional $50 for every five people who opened an account through you (on top of the $5 referral bonuses).

Note to fellow MoneyLion referrers: If you're promoting MoneyLion's deposit bonus as "make a $100 direct deposit and get $50," you'll want to fix this. According to the referral terms, referees must make a recurring direct deposit - aka two $100 direct deposits - within 60 days. If your signups only make one direct deposit, neither of you will receive the $50 bonus.

StreetBeatdown

I learned something new last night about Streetbeat. They are another one of the apps who have the "only refer to friends you personally and physically know" in their terms, and have started disabling referral links of referrers sharing them in referral groups. It's unclear at this point whether this has always been included in their terms, or if it's something that's only been added recently.

Streetbeat's referral terms state, "Friends must be able to personally identify their Referrer," along with, "By participating in the Program, you agree to only send referral invitations and Codes to interested people you know personally, such as friends, family and known acquaintances..."

I find Streetbeat's position on referring to be pearl-clutching because, to my knowledge, referral marketers have provided them with a large part of their customer base. Streetbeat went from being a new beta app that nobody heard of this time last year, riddled with bugs, to one of the most viral Referral World apps. In Google App Store, they've had over 50K downloads to date, and I'd bet that at least 1/2 of those downloads are the result of the thousands of Streetbeat referral links shared in referral groups.

Depending on how you feel about this clause, you may want to consider not referring Streetbeat so that you don't get your link and/or account disabled, and risk losing your earned referral bonuses.
