I’m Kat. Im 29 and live in rural Pennsylvania, a place I love. I’m a musician, dog lady, and local open mic host.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with NMDA receptor encephalitis (the brain on fire disease) after a long bout with psychosis due to brain swelling. I was in a coma, had to learn to recognize my family again and put sentences together. It’s been a wild ride and the aftermath has been rough to say the least. I lost my job last Wednesday because of missed time due to my illness.
I’m grateful for any dollars sent my way while I try to rebuild.
