Sometimes I need a little music to help me get in the mood of the scene I'm writing. If I'm trying to pull off a certain emotion, I'll turn to artists or genres that elicit the feeling I'm going for. Sometimes, I'm looking for an ambient experience to take me to the place I'm describing. You'd be surprised, but there are hours of sounds recorded from storms, caves, streets, cafes, you name it.
