Breathe

Oct 05, 2020

Some mornings just waking up can be overwhelming. The one thing you don’t have to remember is to breathe.

No matter what kind of morning you are having take some time for your Self every day. A few minutes just to check in with your body & focus on your breathing to find your center (Hunab Ku). Your breathing pattern helps the body to prepare for the next activity. Subtle changes in your breathing can affect your Nervous System. Notice the cool air coming in & the warm air going out. Notice if you are breathing in your chest or deeper in your belly. Don’t try to change anything just take a moment to notice where you are. Take a mental note. When you exhale do you breathe from your mouth? When you inhale is it through your nose. Remember there are not right or wrong answers.... just take the time to check in. You can do this anytime of day & #TheHoodDoctor suggests at least 2 -3 times a day you check in with your self. Most of the time we are concerned with every one else around us we forget to check in on ourselves.
