I took a quick little trip back down to Vancouver this week. I was only in town for two nights, so I made sure to make good use of what little time I had. I walked around shooting photo nearly the whole time I was there. I met up with an old friend of mine for a portrait shoot and the rest of the time I was just enjoying the city and shooting photos along the way.
This picture was one of the last shots I took on the trip. I wasn't even planning on shooting photos this night, but I caught glimpses of the city and figured I'd better at least try and grab one more shot. I raced to this spot I knew where I could get a half decent view of the city and set up for the shot as quickly as I could. I was able to get this shot just before the sky turned black on me. Once I had this shot I knew I had everything I needed.
The second photo is one of those rare (for me) instances where I feel like the photo just looks better in black and white.
I shot a ton of photos in Vancouver, so you can expect this blog to be heavy on the Vancouver stuff for the next little while haha.
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
