Every year, ACES: The Society for Editing holds a national headline contest that aims to reward exceptional headline writing in all types of media, from newspapers to social networks.
And this year, I was named Honorable Mention in one category! I had submitted seven headlines from content that I had written or edited.
According to the email I received from ACES, "Your selection of headlines stood out to the judges as unique, sophisticated, and successful in capturing readers' attention."
