Tarot cards do not predict the future. Tarot is like a mirror held before us, reflecting back where we are currently in a particular cycle of our lives, and presenting possibilities for us to live them better. It reveals the ordeals, joys, and momentary choices we might face along any given path, providing a time for reflection to figure out our futures.
That means that anything a reader sees cannot be fixed, as each change in our thoughts and actions changes our reality, and in turn your tarot readings, as they are a reflection of you. Tarot readers are therefore more like life consultants—someone who can look at your given situation and present you with the potentiality before you. The job of the tarot reader is in essence about deciphering the ancient symbology of the cards and to allow you to apply its wisdom in your everyday life. What you do with that information is entirely up to you. So, it is not the information and guidance you receive from the tarot cards that will predict or change your future, it is you who will.
