Hi everyone. Just wanted to update everyone on the state of things.
First, burnout. I've been stuck in a state of burnout towards writing for the last two months. I've forced myself to write at first, but my best writing just doesn't happen like this. I haven't been very happy with most of what I have written recently because of it, and I don't want to give you mediocre fics just for the sake of getting things done.
Second, commissions. Burnout means I have had no motivation to get to them which I hate admitting. I know it is disappointing for those that have commissioned a story and have yet to see it come to fruition, and I sincerely apologize. I do still plan to write them I just don't know when, unfortunately.
Last, Twitter. Two things relating to Twitter. First, if you follow me, you may have noticed I've added "Semi-hiatus" to my name. This is mainly to set an expectation of sorts while I still feel burnout. Second, I have been participating in Yoonminfest, sharing old fics that fit the themes as well as making new prompts and writing some of them. I'm also cross-posting the threadfic onto ao3 so you can read them there as well. They are all short since I can only manage so much brain power right now, but I hope they are still enjoyable and fill the gap before I fully return to writing consistently again.
That is my update for now. Thank you for the continued support despite my lack of activeness. I do wholeheartedly appreciate it and it does motivate me to write. I just want to give you good fics that I stand behind fully.
