Straighten your beds.
It's Friday. Time to straighten the beds (and turn out the lights).
You've done well dear leaders.
They're maybe miles left in the tank; but you need to leave credits in the bank. And that includes straightening the corners and getting the sheets tucked in.
You see: you sleep better in a well made bed; clean sheets and tight corners
People, like pillows, need plumping so it's also time to lay down your pens and tell your people they're something. Remover how you felt as a child being tucked in - adults love it too.
End the week on a high - all straight for next week.
And what about you.
Is your bed made? desk clean, diary sorted, emails answered. It's hard to think straight in a messy head and in a messy room. Ideally this afternoon is your 'getting' stuff straight time.
But if you find yourself here; bed a mess and clothes strewn all over the floor - what do you do?
Cancel a meeting that can be delayed or isn't really necessary or send one of your team whom have capacity instead of you. Set a new trend of empowerment. Use this for 'straightening the sheets'.
Free up - next Friday afternoon it's important for the success of the following week.
Set aside 10 mins at the end of the day to write down how you feel with a 'tidy bed' - take that into Friday evening.
This is within your gift. Remember people sleep better in straightened beds.
For the weekend
